ATPM to successfully manage Dubbo City Holiday Park
ATPM CEO Mark Manteit thanked Council for the opportunity to manage Dubbo City Holiday Park to bring more visitors to the region and provide local opportunities for the community. “Our philosophy is to provide exceptional holiday experiences, with a combination of fantastic environments, great hospitality and modern facilities” Mr Manteit said.
“We are passionate about achieving this as Dubbo City provides a rich cultural heritage with plenty of attractions, events and services to two thirds of New South Wales. ATPM seeks holiday parks that are considered unique and interesting – the hidden gems that have so much to offer their visitors – like Dubbo City Holiday Park.”
Taking effect 1 December 2014, Dubbo City Council will continue to own and operate Dubbo City Holiday Park with the onsite park management and high level support provided by ATPM who are based in the Gold Coast.
Mr Manteit said ATPM is keen to work with Dubbo local tourism operators, attractions and eateries to bring more visitors to the region.
Deputy Mayor of Dubbo, Councillor Ben Shields said it was determined that a management contract would provide the best financial return for Council.
“In June Council budgeted $1 million for immediate site improvements to get underway this financial year including highway signage to upgrade the attraction and make the most of its prime location,” Clr Shields said.
ATPM aims to increase the parks performance and undertake improvements to help ensure Dubbo City Holiday Park meets their financial objectives.
Dubbo City Holiday Park will offer free wireless internet to all guests, free kids activities during school holidays and many other extras such as free board game and DVD hire.
