NRMA Parks and Resorts breathes new life into NRMA Bathurst Panorama Holiday Park to include 12 new guest rooms and renovated cabins with an exciting family entertainment facility on the way.

Since acquiring the park in 2017, the NRMA has installed four new accommodation options including studio units, two-bedroom cabins, three-bedroom cabins, new ensuite sites and upgraded many of its existing cabins and sites.

The guest amenities block has received a much needed renovation bringing it into the modern era with additional amenities installed near the pool to allow guests to further enjoy the park’s facilities in the summer months.

The park contains 30 cabins and over 100 powered sites for caravans and tents. The Holiday Park also offers a range of facilities for travellers including a spectacular outdoor pool, waterslide, bouncing pillow and children’s playground. Once complete, the NRMA will have invested over $3 million in upgrading the park’s amenities, cabins and powered sites, providing an additional boost to the local economy.

The location of NRMA Bathurst Panorama Holiday Park creates a gateway to western NSW making it a popular choice for families, those who enjoy camping and caravanning, and motoring enthusiasts attending the Bathurst 1000 and other events in the regional hub.

NRMA Park and Resorts CEO Paul Davies said he hoped the newly completed renovation to NRMA Bathurst Panorama Holiday Park would attract new visitors to the region.
“Bathurst is so much more than one car race, once a year. Just a few hours from Sydney, it’s regional NSW at its best,” said Mr Davies.

“Colonial goldfields, award winning vineyards and restaurants, heritage listed buildings and spectacular limestone caves are all situated in the Bathurst region.
“Our Members tell us they’re looking for family holidays that don’t break the budget or involve expensive overseas travel – it can really be as simple as jumping into the car and tapping into what our beautiful state has to offer within our own backyard.

“In these tough times for regional communities, we encourage people to explore the area and support local economies through tourism”

NRMA Bathurst Panorama Holiday Park Managers Lauren and Baden Shipley said Bathurst had come a long way in 12 months.

“Some people have been coming to the park for the past 15 years and are surprised with how much we’ve been able to accomplish in just one year. Guests are really loving the work that is going into the park and are excited to see the end results,” said Mrs Shipley.

“We moved here in 2017 to manage the holiday park, and we have been blown away with how friendly and welcoming everyone has been. It’s also so laid back and peaceful.
“NRMA Bathurst Panorama Holiday Park is a great place to set up camp for a couple of days and go exploring Bathurst and the surrounding regional areas such as, Sofia, Katoomba, Oberon and the Jenolan Cavess”.
